Can you believe these guys? They are advertising $500 off any wedding booked in April and May. That means that every weekend night is a potential sleepless night for their neighbors.
I used to so look forward to the Springtime. It's my absolute favorite time of year. All the green growth and flowers popping along the highways. I'm already planning my garden layout and which veggies get to live here.
But this spring looms with dread. Memory Lane Event Center is open for business every weekend night until 10:30pm. Their outdoor pavilion is 1/8 mile from my home. The noise will be absolutely horrible. It's like living next to subwoofers at full volume. ugh.
I just spoke with my state rep and he will be introducing a bill next session that will give counties the authority to regulate these types of business and their noise pollution. Unfortunately the next session isn't until 2011. But it's something to look forward to!
I'm still looking forward to the gardening. It's going to be yummy eating over here.
